Sep 3 - Oct 4 Guest artists Drew Denny (USA), John Matthew Heard (USA), Kyoung Kim (USA/KOR), Edwina Portocarrero (MEX) will show at HMK hosting TERRARIUM:an installation and event series created by the Reclamation collective, which recombines practices of art, worship, and exploration in spaces designed to allude to the studio, the gallery, and the house of god.

Publication DH is a free magazine about art, artists and artist run spaces and AIR programs in The Hague. The magazine offers a guide to the cultural infrastructure in The Hague. Published by Stroom with (among others) a contribution by Trans Artists

 

 

Publication Landschap en Herinnering (Landscape and Memory) by P.A.I.R. gives an overview of the many special AIR projects that took place last year at P.A.I.R. mobile residency (Drenthe). Order the publication for 10,00 Euro at P.A.I.R.

 

Publication the international artist-in-residency program Stormlicht 2008-9; a collaboration by bronze foundry Beeldenstorm and graphic workshop Daglicht in Eindhoven, is presented in a publication. This residency on the tip of the province North Holland, facilitates two temporary working and living studios for visual artists, writers and researchers.The studio's are professionally equiped, light spaces for concentrated working or intensive workshop sessions. The studio's look out over the fields and are at 5 - 10 min. walking distance from the sea (Waddenzee), Afsluitdijk and IJsselmeer.

Right now! ARD ARD is a new residency program located in a small shoemakers workshop from 1860 in the village center of Dalen and within walking distance of the rural landscape of Drenthe. ARD offers a temporary living and work space to artists from the Netherlands or abroad working in various disciplines of contemporary art. The space is especially suitable for artists interested in land art projects in the area, or artists wishing to spend some time in seclusion to focus on a special project. More info here.

Sept 30 BijlmAIR invites artists and other cultural producers to live and work temporarily in Amsterdam Southeast. This period can be used for project research or for realisation of a project or work of art, following a relevant proposal made by the applicant. The residency needs to relate to the transnational and intercultural society of Amsterdam Southeast. The programme is primarily meant for young artists who finished their art education recently.
