Description
Art Site of Chiayi Railway Warehouse aims to provide a multi-functional art space with art performance, exhibition, art marketing, art education and artist residencies.To curate professional art activities and upgrade the standard of local art environment.
Technical Information
A performance and exhibition space for large scale visual art work and compact performance area. A workshop space with heavy duty machines and equipment for art creation.The dimension of the warehouses are 1800 square meters, and exterior cargo loading area is 7000 square meters.
Studio Information
The studio is formed by warehouse no.1 and 3 and is divided into 3 special studios and 6 multi- functional studios. The size of the studios are around 66 to 99 square feet and are equipped with bathroom, kitchenette and bedroom. The Artist Recreation Room provides social space, laundry room and kitchen.
Location
Art Site of Chiayi Railway Warehouse is situated in the center of the five Art Network of Railway Warehouse. It connects Taichung and Hsinchu due north, and connects with Fangliao and Fanglio station due south.
